Rob, many thanks for organising a great trip for us. Pretty much everything worked like clockwork. Mashatu tented camp was very good. Excellently run with fantastic staff, very professional and friendly, food top notch too. Game viewing was still good despite the grass being high. We did see wild dogs on our first day. Leopards usually allude us too but our excellent guide Richard found 2 in three days for us. We loved the tents, large comfortable and well appointed with great bathrooms but our only criticism of the whole camp would be that there was no view / aspect. You were right about Tswalu, it was absolutely fabulous! Again guides can make or break the experience and we had an excellent guide Warren Pearson. Everything about Tswalu was top notch and you have now spoilt us for the future. Sadly no pangolin or aardvark but got very close to Hartmann’s zebra, and the first brown hyena I have seen. Meerkats were fascinating and I could have sat with them all day. Many thanks again Rob, just loved it!![]()

Dear Frances, just to let you know that the trip went off without a hitch; it was a truly wonderful experience and will always be fondly remembered. The Letaka mobile safari was something of a highlight because our guide “Nkosi” was a true star. He was so passionate about the bush and all it has to offer. He was very considerate, a safe driver and had the most encyclopaedic knowledge of all the mammals and birds. He could answer every question going. He was also able to interpret the animal behaviour to track animals and find them. Quite outstanding. Our 7 days with him resulted in some emotional “goodbyes” when he saw us off from Xakanaxa airstrip for the finale at Vumbura Plains. That was a superlative end to the holiday and we agreed it was the best accommodation and “service” experience we have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Another highlight were the “Safari Brothers” – Grant and Brent Reed – turning up at Maun to greet us off our flight back from Vumbura. Rather beyond the call of duty but it was great to speak to them about our time in the Kalahari and the Moremi with Nkosi and how good the support team were led by Mousa the bush chef. Many thanks for putting together what will be remembered as a trip of a life time.![]()

Dear Michele, you arranged a most amazing holiday for us, our two children, their spouses and five grandchildren to Cape Town, Gaborone and Madikwe. EVERYTHING was perfect, the transfers worked like clockwork, and you helped make our 50th Anniversary celebration a trip to remember forever. So a BIG THANK YOU – you did us proud.![]()

Hi Michele, I wanted you to know that the trip was fabulous and has now replaced Peru as my favourite trip. You guys clearly know what you are doing. Several people even mentioned what a good variety of locations we were seeing. At Selinda, we loved the variety of topography. Saw so much, including two wild dog kills in one day. Lots of people never see one. Gruesome, but incredibly interesting. Loved the camp, the people, the food, the personal hospitality. At Shinde the landscape was wetter and interesting, the food was good and staff very nice. Camp Kalahari we saw some great birds and new animals especially at night and we enjoyed the meerkats. Drinks, dinner and sleeping on the pans was magical.![]()

Dear Michele, Botswana, as usual, lived up to all my hopes and expectations. All your arrangements, timings, connections, etc. worked out beautifully – thank you. It really was my dream holiday – I don’t think I’ve woken up yet! The 3 camps were absolutely delightful – very different in their own ways and at all three camps, my guides were excellent. Very best wishes to you all at Safari Consultants, and again thank you for organising my trip this year.![]()

Hi Michele, we’re back in Hong Kong now and trying to get over jetlag. The trip was amazing, thank you so much for everything. The overall organisation, transfers, quality of camps, etc. were flawless. We’re really lucky as we get to travel frequently, but this was our first trip to Africa and it didn’t disappoint. It was also great to meet the two Safari Consultants ladies at Kanana. We will definitely use Safari Consultants again and I’m already working on Tim for the next trip!![]()

Frances, great holiday. We particularly enjoyed the Tok Tokkie and Footsteps walking trips, but appreciated the diversity of the programme and would not have wished to change the route. Overall brilliant! Thank you.![]()
