Stephen and Caron from London travelled to Botswana

Hi Rob, we had an amazing holiday and were completely blown away with Botswana again. All camps were amazing and unique, we loved Footsteps and the simplicity of it and the guides were great in all camps (Paul was a character at Footsteps!)

Graham and Angela from Surrey travelled to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Botswana

Hi Rob, We had a superb holiday, thank you. We’re glad we started with Victoria Falls as were a bit tired at the end of the holiday and the low water did enable is to get a better view. We managed to see leopards for the first time, we witnessed a lion kill and we managed to catch roan, sable, genet, civet and a host of birds too numerous to mention. The guides were excellent at all of the camps and the camp crew / support staff were all good and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very good in all the camps and the rooms were fine – we wish all tents were as luxurious. Would we go on this type of trip again. Yes. Would we consider using Safari Consultants? Yes.

Jan and Russell from Suffolk travelled to the Masai Mara in Kenya, Victoria Falls in Zambia, the Selinda Game Reserve and Okavango Delta in Botswana and Cape Town in South Africa

Dear Rob, we had a wonderful holiday. Without exception, we saw some great game in the safari areas and our trip to Livingstone and Cape Town were also most enjoyable. All our transfers went well, flights and representatives all good. Gamewise, we saw it all. From leopards (up a tree having it’s lunch), cheetahs, elephants of all ages and sizes, rhino, giraffe, wild dogs (including a brilliant chase ending in a kill), everything. The zebra crossing was mesmerising and there were six lost to crocs. Two wildebeest crossings and lots of lions and cubs. Thanks for organising us another great memory.

Andy and Marie from Norfolk travelled to Zambia and Botswana

We were introduced to Jane at Safari Consultants by a friend, and thank her wholeheartedly, because they have always arranged fantastic holidays for us, and it is reassuring to leave all planning in their very capable hands, and for me and my husband to relax and enjoy our vacation. We were lucky enough to have a very fast exciting canter with zebra, and a mock charge from an elephant where Gregory stood his ground between us and the elephant to shield us.

Dave and Kath from Suffolk travelled to Victoria Falls and Botswana

Jane, we thoroughly enjoyed the Zambia and Botswana Ruby Wedding Anniversary safari which you planned so carefully for us. Nothing was too much trouble in helping us to achieve our aim and everything was planned down to the finest detail. All plans worked perfectly. The standard of guiding within Botswana was excellent and the sheer amount of wildlife we saw, particularly at Chobe, was amazing. Although this is our third safari trip, we are both agreed that it has been the best yet. Many, many thanks from us both and here’s to the next time?

Adrian and Sally travelled to Zimbabwe and Botswana

Dear Rob, I am writing to say thank-you for organising a wonderful safari, it lived up to our expectations and we all had a lovely time. All the accommodation was very comfortable, excellent and very tasty food. We all enjoyed the true wilderness experience and diversity of the landscape and appreciate that you did ensure we saw different areas so thank-you. The smells and sounds of Africa are of course one of the best bits and I loved the bee eaters which I have never seen before. We do feel we have had a very special holiday so thank-you for all your organisation.

Kati and Tero from Finland travelled to Botswana

Dear Michele, I have to thank you for the excellent planning and arrangements. We won’t hesitate to use your services again or to recommend Safari Consultants to other people. Kanana Camp was just beautiful. On the mokoro trail, we so much enjoyed the peace and quiet on the water and did some nice, long walks. We were lucky enough to spot two Pel´s fishing owls and see elephants crossing while sitting in a mokoro. We have admitted that we can stop pretending we have not yet decided whether to go back to Africa again or not. It is only the question of where.

Rosemary and family from Yorkshire travelled to Zimbabwe and Botswana

Dear Rob, I just wanted to thank you for organising such a wonderful safari. It all went like clockwork with no hitches. We were warmly welcomed where ever we went and the staff and guides were excellent, cheerful, friendly and helpful. The lodges were luxurious! The sundowners were special in that our guides chose beautiful places for us to get out of the vehicle, the surrounding bushes inspected for any nasty surprises and we enjoyed watching the sun go down with the different reflections and light that seems to only happen in Africa. Every lodge was different in different terrain and we saw lots of lovely birds and animals and were able to get close to many of them. We enjoyed the walks, Mokoro and boat trips. Lots of new experiences and it was a very happy family holiday. Thank you very much for choosing such lovely places to visit. Well done Rob, you did us proud.

David and Kirsten from Tyne and Wear travelled to Botswana and Victoria Falls on a self-driving camping trip

Hi Mary. Overall, it was the most amazing adventure. The start of our trip at Kanana was incredible. We did every activity available to us at every available opportunity. The inner Okavango Delta was so beautiful and we could easily have spent our entire trip there. Then we come to the camping part. Thank you so much for listening and understanding our needs as this was exactly what we were looking for… and so much more. At Third Bridge, you had to hardly leave camp to see all of the game. We saw two cheetahs, a pack of 9 wild dogs on multiple occasions and lions. The highlight of the game viewing was watching wild dogs chase off a young male lion as it had eyes on their kill, closely followed by watching wild dogs hunt for impala. Amazing. At Savuti camp, we got our first leopard spot. It was right next to the road relaxing under a tree. Such a beautiful animal. The landscape at Savuti was tailor made for viewing cats, especially down by the marsh. So different to anywhere else we have been. We managed to spot a pride of lions here, 5 in total with a Zebra kill. The long drive to Linyanti was totally worth it. Such a beautiful remote part of Chobe. At Waterberry, the setting was beautiful and we enjoyed a nice sundowner cruise along the Zambezi on our first night. Our full day in Zambia was obviously spent at the falls and we loved it. We took a Huey helicopter ride over the falls which words can’t describe how amazing it was. I even did a bungee jump of the bridge too! Thank you once again for all of your help planning this, we will certainly be in touch again at some point in the future.
