Hi Michele, a long, long overdue note of thanks (my apologies). What an amazing trip. What a wonderful country. What gracious and accommodating hosts. But most importantly, because of you, what a spectacular travel itinerary. You can’t imagine how many people we met who were both envious and amazed by the opportunities and activities afforded to us. The destinations, the lodgings, the animals, the people…I really can’t say enough. Perfect in so many, many ways. Michele, my entire family and I want to thank you for all you did to make our adventure more than we ever imagined. Truly. We appreciate your attention to detail, your energy and enthusiasm, and your patience with us before, during and (now) after the trip. You and your team were superb. Again, my apologies for my tardy reply. And thank you, thank you, thank you!

Mary from Hampshire travelled with friends to Kenya and Zambia

The trip surpassed all my expectations and has provided me with some magical memories. The camps were exceptional and I can honestly say I have never been so well cared for. Special recommendations must go to Sonia and her team at Laikipia. Both guides: Onesmus and Mika, both of whom were extraordinary and without exception, all the staff at Siankaba. A huge thank you to all of them. This was a truly wonderful, one might almost say life changing trip and one that I shall never forget. Overall, I must send a personal note of thanks to Michele who orchestrated the whole affair with care and efficiency. I shall rave about Safari Consultants to my friends until I am in danger of boring them silly! With grateful thanks.

Paul and Laura from London travelled to Kenya

We had a fantastic trip, thank you! All down to your expertise and efforts. I had high expectations going in after previous experiences many years ago, but both portions of the trip – especially the Mara – more than lived up to these. Offbeat was exactly what I was after when speaking to Michele, so thanks for choosing so well for us. We just wanted to say that, at the outset of this trip, we contacted numerous travel agents and safari specialists, but none really came close to the insight and service we got from your guys. We got a lot of commoditised, pre-built itineraries, honeymoon plans we didn’t ask for, and, in some cases, refusal to work with the budget we had (!).  So just wanted to let you know this, and will be recommending you in future.

Roger and Judith from Essex travelled to Kenya and Tanzania

Hi Rob, your itinerary and all arrangements worked superbly. Everything went according to plan. Selous Impala camp was a great finale as the rivers made such a change to the bush game drives. All of the camps were excellent in their different ways. Meals were imaginative, varied and tasty. All of the staff we met were very keen on what they were doing and wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay with them. All of our guides seemed to have real passion for the bush. All in all, another excellent trip organised by you and your team, Rob. You have done us proud and clearly have chosen good operators on the ground. Please pass on our thanks to all your team.

Good Evening Michele, we would like to thank you for organising such a superb holiday which we are still in complete awe of. So many lasting memories have been created and we have never felt so at peace & relaxed on a holiday before. The whole itinerary ran faultlessly for which we thank you! The camps were superb with excellent guiding, fantastic food & a very high level of service & accommodation. For us you certainly achieved the ‘holiday away from humans’ and we can’t really believe we were there now that we are back to our pressured lives. Our sincerest thanks go out to you Michele along with all of the camp staff who made every moment spectacular. We are of course thinking of what comes next year…..Thank you once again Michele for your hard work & making this a holiday of a lifetime for us!

KP and Jac from Berkshire returned to Kenya

Hi Michele, thanks for your email and sorry it’s taken so long to respond. We had an absolute fantastic trip yet again with brilliant experiences including the rescue of a baby elephant in Olare Orok conservancy! I had a great birthday celebration and thank you so much for the champagne which went down well – we toasted you! Fred and the team at Kicheche pulled out all the stops again to give us a truly memorable stay! I will send you some photos later – again we had excellent game viewing. We saw all the big cats at Bush Camp and even had a cheetah climbing on top of our car! As you see, we had so many exciting adventures, we can’t wait to go back! We just want to say a big thank you again for organising a memorable trip – everything went according to plan plus all these extras thrown in!

The Fawcett family from Solihull travelled to Kenya & Victoria Falls

Hi Michele, thank you for your letter. We did indeed have a wonderful holiday which more than lived up to our expectations, thank you. We saw everything we could have wished to, several times over. On our transfer drive into Amboseli we saw lions manoeuvring and feeding on a zebra; also there we saw a cheetah and her cubs eating a freshly killed gazelle. On a night drive in Laikipia we sat whilst 14 lions squabbled over a warthog carcass in the light of our headlights. In the Mara we saw a leopard holding fast to a young wildebeest’s throat as it died, and then watched her drag it into the undergrowth. As far as individual animal sightings go, we saw an aardwolf (Mara), a zorilla (Laikipia), a wild dog (Amboseli – our guide said it had been a year since he’d seen one); a bush baby (by the light of the camp fire in the Mara). Many thanks again from all of us for organising such an amazing holiday.

Hi Rob, I want to give you my overview of the experience we had as a first-timer to Africa over the last couple of days. We were met by Peter, our guide at Laikipia, and had a really nice introduction to game-driving in Africa just arriving in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It was just nice seeing elephants, zebra’s, rhino’s…already arriving at the site. Of course, Sonja is a very warm person and made us feel ‘at home’ throughout the 3 night stay. She, Juma and the whole staff actually gave a very warm feeling at the camp. All too soon, we were expected back at the airstrip for our SafariLink connection to the Mara. James, our guide at Kicheche Bush, did what he had to do! Find game, be funny, show us around, nothing was too much. We have been so lucky with all the game we have seen! If somehow I can list up or show you what we saw…it is massive! But arriving at Mara House, even our guide James dropped his mouth seeing the new environment where we were going to stay for the remaining three nights. Mara house was wonderful! The water pool added to the house gives you the max. We saw elephants, baboons, gazelles, impalas, wildebeests, different birds, warthogs….it was fabulous. To make a perfect combination: put Mara House at the Bush site with the Laikipia staff and you have THE safari combination everyone will be looking for! (except for the guides where each one had his own expertise)
