Thanks so much for arranging our super holiday in Kenya. The four locations you chose were very different and gave us a good insight into the biodiversity to be found in the country. The ‘birding’ was a joy and fitted in very well with game watching. We have some great photographs which we are sorting through gently and re-living some good moments.

Huge thanks to Mary for her help an advice from my initial enquiry at the Bird Fair to us departing (& returning). This was an experience well outside our ‘comfort zone’ and we are so pleased to have booked with Safari Consultants. The ‘added value’ meant we had the most wonderful experience we could and was worth every penny to us. This was our trip of a lifetime but we do hope perhaps one day to do it again! Undoubtedly the highlight for us was the 3 days walking wild with Kitonga. He was a superb guide, extremely knowledgeable, great sense of humour and lovely companion.

We had a great holiday – the safari in particular surpassed our expectations . Kicheche is a fantastic place and all the people there really made the safari very special – a real life time experience that we’ll always remember!! The food was great, service excellent and our Masai guide Michael was a lovely guy, very knowledge and made it really enjoyable for Oliver in particular. We saw all the big 5 and more – a Leopard on our first morning (quite rare) and on the last day, 2 Lions taking a Wildebeest down – that really rounded it off!

With reference to your ‘welcome home’ letter can I say that I have just returned from what can only be described as the holiday of a lifetime. The package that you put together was outstanding and every aspect of the holiday was flawless and stress free. As for the camps themselves they were all in their own way perfection. Whilst the game viewing at Laikipia is somewhat restricted by prohibitions about going off road, it is more than compensated for by the kindness of the staff and the sheer ‘style’ of the camp itself (Sonja and Andy send their regards by the way). As for the Bush Camp, what can I say? The game viewing was incredible and I witnessed two crossings and a number of hunts by both cheetah and lion. Finally thank you so much for all the work you and your colleagues in both the U.K. and Africa did setting this holiday up for me and I will certainly use Safari Consultants again if I ever return.
