Hi Mary and Rob, we just wanted to thank you for all your help in organising our honeymoon. All of your recommendations were spot on! The logistics of all the transfers etc. were also seamless and we couldn’t have been more relaxed. When we left Botswana we tried to think of anything at all that could be improved and we couldn’t think of even the smallest thing. Constance Lemuria in the Seychelles was also much more than we expected and we absolutely loved it. Carana Beach Hotel is lovely, the private beach beautiful and we had excellent food there. Mason’s travel were really good too and everything went very smoothly with them. In Botswana the safari was great – we felt like we saw a lot and even saw a large pack of wild dogs hunting in Shinde. We thought the staff at Ker and Downey were just phenomenal and would love to go again.

Rob, as I suspected, the “game” portion of the trip was anti-climatic after seeing the great migration, but we still saw lots of game. Makanyi was great, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, the amenities and service, great. Great choice for the area. Cape Grace was, likewise, a great choice. Certainly one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. Again, the staff were gracious and helpful. Leeu House was also a good choice though I am not sold on spending two nights in the wine country. Great food but I’m getting to the point, I guess, that we have seen so many “vineyards”, that the novelty has worn off. River Club was just okay–great location, lovely views, a bit tired. Overall, it really was a great trip, Africa really is a special place. Thanks for your help.

Dear Rob and Bill, we had the most amazing time in SA. You made the whole thing simplicity itself from the early telephone conversations and advice to the “Vamoos app” and wallet you supply containing all relevant information. Your choices of hotels and lodges were spot on as were the transfers you arranged; the road transfer from Kwandwe to PE was faultless but I must admit that the air transfer on that private jet from Plettenberg fulfilled a childhood dream! Kwandwe was amazing and exactly what we were looking for, we have some amazing photographs and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for making the whole experience so amazing and the booking process so easy when it could have easily been rather daunting trying to decide where to go.

Hi Rob, our Safari in the Madikwe and time in Cape Town were both outstanding. When people ask about our Safari, I tell people it was our best family vacation yet. I’ve been an expat for 15 years and my family is well travelled, so that’s quite a comment. I highly rate the quality of The Bush House and thanks so much for the recommendation. Having a private vehicle also really added to the experience. The guide was superb and great with our kids. Four full days really seemed like the right amount of time. The small size of the lodge, staffs treatment of our kids, and the facilities really made us feel ‘at home.’ Cape Town and the surrounding area are beautiful as you know. Our driver to and from the Bush House was actually Ian Johnson, a guide and tour company owner himself. He shared insights and recommendations and was much more than just the driver. I see another Safari in our future. I will definitely contact you when its time. Thanks much

Hi Frances, we are still desperately trying to hold onto that holiday feeling! The tan, however is fading! Kings Camp was stunning – we had such a warm welcome. Everything about it was perfect, the staff who work at the camp all have their own personality whilst delivering a first class service – the facilities are first rate, a fantastic spa and a gym! The Wi-Fi worked better than our Wi-Fi in Cape Town! The game viewing was incredible – we saw the big 5 in the first 3 drives and was lucky enough to see wild dogs and twice witnessed leopards with their kill. The surprises kept coming… One night we came back from our drive and they had arranged for private dining on our room veranda, complete with a hot bath they had already run with candles all around it. A full on braai one night in a different outdoor dining area with us all sat in a semi circle – great to mix up the setting whilst being able to mix more with other guests. A surprise bush breakfast one morning where they took us to a site with tables and chairs, full cook area and a proper luxury outdoor loo! We can’t thank you enough for such an incredible trip, we are hooked – we are thinking next trip may be Botswana! Which we would naturally come to you for. Thanks again.

Frances, I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for all your help with our recent safari vacation. We had a spectacular time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip!
