Lloyd and Jacqueline from Cambridgeshire travelled to Namibia, Zimbabwe & Zambia

Hi Rob, Chobe Princess – Fantastic start. Total unwind from first few minutes on board. Mwamba – Excellent camp. First rate guide. Marvellous wildlife. Tafika – Bush walking was great. Guides very knowledgeable. Old Mondoro – Great Camp. Water activities a real plus, and good to wash out all that dust at the end. Thanks again. A wonderful trip and just the right mix of experiences.

David, Bernadette and Luke from Suffolk travelled to Zambia

Dear Michele, everything ran very smoothly, all flights, meet and greets, and camps were ready. We enjoyed our 50th and 18th birthday and 25th wedding anniversary at all camps – we had bubbly and cake! The trip was well planned with a chance to relax more and go at a slower pace at our last camp. This was even better as we were the only ones in camp for 3 nights! It was great to be able to go on the river to have a bit more variety. We had a great time and saw good game – including a close encounter with a hippo! and 9 week old lion cubs. Thank You.

Tim and Claire from Hong Kong travelled to Botswana and Victoria Falls

Hi Michele, we’re back in Hong Kong now and trying to get over jetlag. The trip was amazing, thank you so much for everything. The overall organisation, transfers, quality of camps, etc. were flawless. We’re really lucky as we get to travel frequently, but this was our first trip to Africa and it didn’t disappoint. It was also great to meet the two Safari Consultants ladies at Kanana. We will definitely use Safari Consultants again and I’m already working on Tim for the next trip!

Christopher and Penny from Hope Valley travelled to Zambia and Namibia

Hi Rob, may I thank you and the team, but you especially, for putting together such an excellent trip. It met, indeed it exceeded, all our expectations. Quite when we do the next one, I know not; perhaps not for a year or two but another we shall do and through you.

Richard and Jackie from London travelled to Zambia

Dear Michele, our trip to South Luangwa National Park was hugely enjoyable and eventful; the season is considered to be two months ahead of what it should be with low waters levels in the rivers and some concern for later in the year. There was abundant wildlife with excellent sightings – in particular a leopard taking a live impala up a tree chased by 3 hyena, at least 182 crocodiles (I stopped counting) feeding on a dead hippo and (the highlight of the trip for me!) 32 ellies crossing the river. Many thanks for recommending Kaingo; it’s everything a safari camp should be.

Caron and Steve from London travelled to Zambia

We had an amazing time and fell in love with Zambia! Mwamba was a very good camp in a great location. The hides were a great bonus. The sleep out was fantastic and although we didn’t see any game, it was wonderful being out in the open (and cooler) air under the stars, watching the moon go down! Robin Pope bush camping was such a wonderful experience. The guide Kanga was excellent, the best during the trip. Tafika was a nice spacious camp, good game viewing with lions, leopard and her cub. At Chikoko we saw a rare sighting of Pels fishing owl and had a herd of wildebeest approach us whilst we were sat having a bush tea. Crocodile Camp was a great location with the watering hole in front of camp and our room, which made us feel like we had our own hide. Old Mondoro was a blessing after the heat and dryness of the valley – the accommodation was beautiful and felt like a lovely treat after being in the bush! The boat trips were amazing and on our last night we saw the first baby Impala of the season.

Mary from Hampshire travelled with friends to Kenya and Zambia

The trip surpassed all my expectations and has provided me with some magical memories. The camps were exceptional and I can honestly say I have never been so well cared for. Special recommendations must go to Sonia and her team at Laikipia. Both guides: Onesmus and Mika, both of whom were extraordinary and without exception, all the staff at Siankaba. A huge thank you to all of them. This was a truly wonderful, one might almost say life changing trip and one that I shall never forget. Overall, I must send a personal note of thanks to Michele who orchestrated the whole affair with care and efficiency. I shall rave about Safari Consultants to my friends until I am in danger of boring them silly! With grateful thanks.

Stephen and Jean from Norwich travelled to Zambia

Hello Rob, the logistics all worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip: without doubt the best so far. Kaingo was excellent and we would be happy to return. Patrick, our guide, was excellent; knowledgeable about wildlife and photography, a very able driver, excellent language skills – almost the perfect guide. The driving area was a beautiful mix of open plains, woodland and ravines. The beautiful Ebony grove was something special. Lions and Leopard abounded, with Leopards particularly well habituated and photogenic. Night drives were also productive, both for the different animals and reptiles seen but most particularly for the quality of the individual sightings. An excellent camp, well managed by Liz and Garth, nothing was too much trouble, a great place to stay. Old Mondoro Camp was Really, really outstanding. Among the highlights of our game drives were fourteen leopard sightings of nine different leopards in a twenty-four hour period. This included a family of mother, daughter and son who had killed a family of bush pigs (never before seen by us, and only seen a couple of times a year by the guides, what a pity to lose a whole family of such a rare animal!), only for them to lose their supper to a trio of intruder male lions. Night drives were particularly rewarding not only for the variety of wildlife but for their willingness to hold their ground and be photographed, notably civets, porcupines (18), genets, honey badgers as well as leopards and a number of nocturnal birds. I’m not sure how many it was, but we seemed to regularly be meeting Safari Consultants clients. Without you (and your colleagues) South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi would be a much quieter place!
