Hello Michele, we want to thank you for organising our extraordinary safari adventure in Southern Africa. Everything that we had planned worked seamlessly and efficiently in all three countries, including eleven airplanes (+helicopter), multiple lodges and hotels over nearly three weeks. We saw and experienced everything we could imagine for Africa and came home exhilarated (and healthy). A special delight were the staff at all the lodges in Botswana, who seemed so happy to meet with us, spend personal time with us, and treated us like honoured family guests. Our game viewing drives covered all manner of terrain and close up encounters with so many animals and birds in their natural surroundings, that we took over 900 photographs combined. The expert and knowledgeable guides soon became new friends. The food and accommodations were first class and individually special everywhere. We were busy the whole time, and the places you chose presented an exotic variety of experiences.
Some additional comments that did not detract from our delightful safari:
* Night game drives with searchlights were OK, but somehow seemed intrusive and not too productive.
* Nights and predawn drives were indeed cold despite hot water bottles, lush bedcovers, and vehicle blankets so we were happy to be there in June not August. We came well prepared with warm clothes, scarves and gloves and needed them on highway game drives – we were surprised how cold those cottages with screens, Kanana and Okuti, were at night and early morning. The low temperature was 0 degrees Centigrade one morning and no higher than 10 degrees on other days.
* Victoria falls was extraordinary but so full of mist that a later date would have been better (my error). The helicopter ride provided an expanded view, but seemed rather expensive.
Again, we congratulate Safari Consultants, for a complex network of arrangements between camps and transport operations that works flawlessly without delays across countries, rivers, airports etc.
We have recommended Safari consultants to all our friends here, and to our families in the UK.

Dear Rob, we had an amazing time, all of the places we stayed in were excellent and the order was just right. Selinda Camp was our favourite camp – the staff go out of their way to ensure you have everything you want. We also loved Footsteps Across the Delta; a peaceful and completely different experience to the rest. You were right that the animals weren’t as plentiful as they were in Kenya but we still saw lots of them, even a leopard on one occasion. The bird life in Botswana is incredible too. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday.

Dear Mary, I just wanted to email you to say a huge thank you to you and Safari Consultants for our holiday of a lifetime at the Kicheche Bush Camp and Waterberry Lodge. It all exceeded our expectations and everything went so smoothly. All the organisation was fantastic and all the information given was spot on. We had the most incredible time at both locations and the only downer was coming home, we absolutely loved every aspect of it. Each place was a little piece of paradise and their locations were fabulous, very special. We shall never forget our first safari and trip to Africa and really hope we can go back before too long. We were made to feel very welcome at both locations and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were fantastic and the food, well, was “just out of this world”. I’m astounded I didn’t put weight on! At Kicheche our guide Jimmy was wonderful and great fun too, we couldn’t have asked for better and he did everything he could to make our safaris as best as he could. The hosts at both places were excellent and everyone contributed to making our holiday so memorable and fabulous. I also really appreciated all your advice and help prior to us going. We spoke to many other clients of yours whilst out in Africa and everyone thoroughly recommended yourselves and many were frequent clients of yours who had nothing but praise for yourselves. Dear Rob, overall, it was wonderful – and your organisation was brilliant. We were met at every stage on time and there were no hassles. Nuarro Lodge was very comfortable and our hosts did everything they could to make us welcome and our stay enjoyable. Nthambo camp was fantastic. Our guides Matt and Isaac deserve a special mention because they were outstanding. Matt really took time to share his passion and knowledge about the animals and the bush and it made every trip out of camp and enjoyable adventure. Isaac had 30 years’ experience and was super cool. We really enjoyed the guided walks as well as the game drives, as we were as interested in the small stuff as much as the Big 5. We absolutely loved Waterberry Lodge in Zambia. You really pulled something special out of the bag on this one! Nathan and Gordon, the guides, and every single other member of staff, were so attentive and delightful. The lodge itself was super comfortable and we really, really wanted to stay longer there. Every place we stayed, the food was remarkable, especially given the limitations of getting fresh supplies and the facilities available. I’ve never eaten so much on holiday! So, all in all, a very special trip and your organisation was superb.

Dear Rob, we had a wonderful holiday. Without exception, we saw some great game in the safari areas and our trip to Livingstone and Cape Town were also most enjoyable. All our transfers went well, flights and representatives all good. Gamewise, we saw it all. From leopards (up a tree having it’s lunch), cheetahs, elephants of all ages and sizes, rhino, giraffe, wild dogs (including a brilliant chase ending in a kill), everything. The zebra crossing was mesmerising and there were six lost to crocs. Two wildebeest crossings and lots of lions and cubs. Thanks for organising us another great memory.

We were introduced to Jane at Safari Consultants by a friend, and thank her wholeheartedly, because they have always arranged fantastic holidays for us, and it is reassuring to leave all planning in their very capable hands, and for me and my husband to relax and enjoy our vacation. We were lucky enough to have a very fast exciting canter with zebra, and a mock charge from an elephant where Gregory stood his ground between us and the elephant to shield us.

Dear Michele, an incredible trip! A few highlights include 5 aardvarks, about 25 leopard sightings including a kill, mating etc. and lions with kill etc, chasing off vultures. Old Mondoro was fabulous as ever.

Jane, we thoroughly enjoyed the Zambia and Botswana Ruby Wedding Anniversary safari which you planned so carefully for us. Nothing was too much trouble in helping us to achieve our aim and everything was planned down to the finest detail. All plans worked perfectly. The standard of guiding within Botswana was excellent and the sheer amount of wildlife we saw, particularly at Chobe, was amazing. Although this is our third safari trip, we are both agreed that it has been the best yet. Many, many thanks from us both and here’s to the next time?
