Hi Rob, it is good to hear from you. It helps to remind me of the great trip that we had. Each of the camps was terrific in its’ own right. My favorite as you could probably guess was Old Mondoro. Everything about it was phenomenal and was topped off with our seeing a Pangolin the last night that we were there. Bilimungwe was such fun and Alex felt more like a friend than a host. I probably would not return to Kafue. Though the camp was okay it wasn’t up to the same standard as the first two. However, I loved the hot air balloon ride so that made it all worthwhile. Overall, it was a terrific trip and your planning and logistical arrangements were seamless. I have already spoken to others about you and Safari Consultants and will continue to recommend you in the future. Thank you again for planning this wonderful adventure.

Dear Rob, thank you so much for arranging a very special birthday for me at Vundu. We had not mentioned anything so can only conclude that you must have alerted them to my elderly status and they went out of their way to make it a day to remember. It started by walking with the dog pack that is about to feature in “Dynasties” and then had a few close encounters of the elephant kind. One came right up to David in the van and nudged him with its tusks and after lunch we walked with Boswell as he stood on his hind legs to pull down branches on which to feed. Dinner concluded with 2 birthday cakes, one of the elephant dung variety which brought the house down and a delicious real chocolate one that was enjoyed by the whole camp. David will do his usual review over the next few days but I wanted to thank you now for making my birthday really special. We are busy downloading all the photos and can’t wait to look back on them as this was a great trip. You certainly know what we are going to enjoy.

Dear Rob, just wanted to thank you for organising an amazing holiday; I had the most superb time with friends and family. All the accommodation was superb, all well run by happy efficient managers and staff, making you feel welcome and not a number. The meals were outstanding; how they can cook on a log fire like they do and produce what they do, amazes me! I could have stayed longer, especially Hwange Bush Camp, so much longer. Game drives brilliant. I just loved the bush and surrounding area, hardly ever seeing another car, except of course, for the Chobe day out, but if we hadn’t had gone, we would have missed out on hundreds of elephants down on the river to browse, swim and play!! Thank you for everything you did to ensure we had a brilliant holiday

Dear Michele, just to let you know that “you’ve done it again” and raised the bar; making it even more difficult to find somewhere next time that will come near to providing the same excellent standards and overall enjoyment. The VIP annex at the Victoria Falls was an unquestionable success. The Tongabezi Lodge was an absolute winner on all accounts: service, accommodation, location, food facilities etc. with the Dog House being a perfect choice of rooms.
