Dear Frances, we would like to say a personal thank you for all your guidance.  As you know this was a trip of a lifetime, it took us out of our comfort zone, if not for your calm nature and helpful knowledge of all the countries we wanted to visit (Victoria Falls, safari in the Masai Mara in a tent and snorkelling in Zanzibar), your understanding and relaying our requests to all hotels and camps regarding Nicola’s dietary needs took all the worry away, thank you. We would be happy to recommend Safari Consultants who organised our perfect holiday (3 Countries, 9 Flights, 8 transfers perfect) we couldn’t have been more happy. I feel going on safari should be introduced into the modern day 7 Wonders of the World. Everyone we came in contact with on our travels recommended by Safari Consultants were polite punctual and knowledgeable. Once again thank you for a perfect holiday, we have some lovely photos/videos and many treasured memories.

Hi Rob, we had a wonderful holiday, the wildlife in Zimbabwe certainly exceeded our expectations. The three camps each had a unique character. At Somalisa the waterhole was constantly being visited by Elephant. The camp was very relaxed and good fun, food excellent, tents of a high standard. Zambezi Expeditions camp was in a spectacular position on the banks of the Zambezi. We tracked lions on foot on a couple of occasions, bull elephant and wild dog. These were moments never to be forgotten. We canoed down the Zambezi at sunset as elephants and waterbuck came to drink and Carmine and white throated bee eaters returned to their bankside nesting holes. Kanga Camp was our final camp, set in front of the Kanga waterhole. I spent virtually all my time in the hide, Margaret went out on the game drives. The waterhole viewing was spectacular both during the day and night. Elephant, eland, buffalo, kudu, hyaena and leopard. All in all a really enjoyable wildlife experience. Many thanks for your efforts. We’ll be back.

He was the most knowledgeable guide we have ever known and had a genuine care for the environment. We were also pleased and impressed that all our travel arrangements and picks ups went so smoothly.

Hi Rob, thank you so much for organising a fabulous holiday for us. We loved every minute of it and it far exceeded all our expectations (which were already high!). There were so many highlights and we are currently ploughing through and editing approximately 3,000 photos so are reliving all the memories. The Victoria Falls were magnificent, in full spate and Ilala Lodge was lovely. We loved the Chobe river, and the birdlife was superb. We saw about 60 elephants drinking at Elephant Bay which was memorable. The 3 safari camps were awesome. In every case the standard of accommodation was amazing, the food delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Our favourite camp was Shinde – the atmosphere and friendliness almost moved us to tears. At each camp we saw lots and a great variety of animals and birds. A highlight was a pride of nine lions at Selinda which, after an abortive warthog hunt, decided to flop down in the shade of our vehicle. They were so close I could have reached out and touched them. You have now thoroughly converted us to safaris and we have Namibia on the high wishlist.

Hi Frances, we are now back (only in body, not in soul) and we’d like to thank you for the loving care and effort you put into organising our trip. We all had the time of our lives! The animals, the sunsets, the warm people who looked after us, the landscapes and the adventures that took all of us in one way or another our of our comfort zones, will stay with us forever.

Hi Michele, Overall a great experience and we loved it. Our highlights included 18 Roan come down to drink what a show it was. Although there were other trucks form the camp it never felt crowded and with all those eyes on the lookout there was plenty of information being passed to and fro to everyone’s benefit. It was a very good choice on your part. Davisons was also fantastic. The best sightings we had were near the Makalolo water hole. 2-300 Buffalo drinking, other sightings were16 Giraffe and Lion Cubs with Mum. We also had a Cheetah sighting on two days which was unexpected and very special. Kanga was a very nice camp with great staff. The morning after we arrived, we just stayed in camp and watched the wildlife come to the pan to drink – it was great viewing! The highlight of Mana Pools was definitely the walking and being able to track wild dogs on foot and photograph them at close quarters! Thank you as always for all your hard work. It was much appreciated. We thought about you often wondering how you were whilst we enjoyed your homeland.

Hi Michele, I wanted you to know that the trip was fabulous and has now replaced Peru as my favourite trip. You guys clearly know what you are doing. Several people even mentioned what a good variety of locations we were seeing. At Selinda, we loved the variety of topography. Saw so much, including two wild dog kills in one day. Lots of people never see one. Gruesome, but incredibly interesting. Loved the camp, the people, the food, the personal hospitality. At Shinde the landscape was wetter and interesting, the food was good and staff very nice. Camp Kalahari we saw some great birds and new animals especially at night and we enjoyed the meerkats. Drinks, dinner and sleeping on the pans was magical.
