Victoria Falls

The world’s widest waterfall, where the mighty Zambezi River plunges 111 metres into the Batoka Gorge, famously discovered by Sir David Livingstone who claimed that ‘scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight’.
Hwange National Park

A huge wilderness region known for its big game, especially elephant, buffalo and lion. Arguably Zimbabwe’s premier game region and certainly ‘raw Africa’ at its best.
Matobo Hills National Park

A dramatic landscape of rocky hills, granite boulders and forested ravines which is home to the grave of Cecil John Rhodes as well as healthy populations of rhino, leopard and black eagles.
Matusadona National Park

A large park which tumbles from the rocky wilderness of the Matusadona Hills to the open shores of Lake Kariba. Dominated by the lake with fantastic water-based game-viewing, birding and fishing opportunities.
Mana Pools National Park

Dominated by the gentle waters of the mighty Zambezi River, Mana Pools is a special place offering fantastic game-viewing, stunning scenery and varied activities, including the best canoeing safaris in Africa.
