Hi Rob, we had a wonderful holiday, the wildlife in Zimbabwe certainly exceeded our expectations. The three camps each had a unique character. At Somalisa the waterhole was constantly being visited by Elephant. The camp was very relaxed and good fun, food excellent, tents of a high standard. Zambezi Expeditions camp was in a spectacular position on the banks of the Zambezi. We tracked lions on foot on a couple of occasions, bull elephant and wild dog. These were moments never to be forgotten. We canoed down the Zambezi at sunset as elephants and waterbuck came to drink and Carmine and white throated bee eaters returned to their bankside nesting holes. Kanga Camp was our final camp, set in front of the Kanga waterhole. I spent virtually all my time in the hide, Margaret went out on the game drives. The waterhole viewing was spectacular both during the day and night. Elephant, eland, buffalo, kudu, hyaena and leopard. All in all a really enjoyable wildlife experience.
