Chobe National Park
A huge park offering excellent big-game viewing in the two principal regions – along the Chobe River and around the Savuti Marsh. Elephant viewing and birding along the Chobe River is a big highlight.
The Linyanti Region
Pure, unspoilt, game-rich, wild Africa. Acres of remote wilderness split into various private concessions offering exclusivity, varied habitats and excellent big-game. One of the best places in Africa to see wild dogs.
The Okavango Delta
A remarkable and unique inland delta offering exclusivity, incredible scenery, great game-viewing, wonderful water activities and brilliant birding. A real gem and one of Africa’s best wilderness and wildlife destinations.
The Makgadikgadi Pans National Park and environs
Vast salt pans surrounded by Kalahari grassland, offering a unique scenic experience with some very specific wildlife highlights, such as meerkats and brown hyaena. Greater flamingos and huge numbers of zebra are resident during the wet season.
Nxai Pan National Park
Notably different from Makgadikgadi with a mostly vegetated pan system which provides good game-viewing throughout the year. Baines Baobabs is an individual attraction.
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Classic Kalahari – a vegetated desert landscape of Kalahari scrub and woodland offering a genuine and very exclusive experience. Game-viewing is good but slightly seasonal, with some desert specialities.
Tuli Block
A group of private reserves and concessions make up this dramatic and scenic region which offers some very good game-viewing and horse-riding safaris. Access is usually from South Africa.
Moremi
The central section of the Okavango Delta which is designated as a National Game Reserve. A beautiful region with excellent game-viewing and boat cruises, but not as exclusive as the surrounding private concessions.
