Having specialised in travel to Africa since 1983, we are extremely proud and fortunate to have built up a wonderful customer base of repeat travellers, who also recommend our services to their friends, family and colleagues, or even fellow travellers they meet on safari. Our aim is for every holiday we arrange to be perfect for the people who undertake them. Listed below are some of the comments we have received from our customers. Please also visit the AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) feedback site to see reviews on our services and our clients’ experiences.

Mary, we returned home last evening and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything was so well planned and organized. We found each location very different, but enjoyed not only the variety, but also the absolutely perfect services at each place. All three staff’s were so attentive and helpful. I had a little 24 something in Lewa and they took such good care of me. Kate was exceptional. Our guides were so good and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, we have already suggested your agency to several people. The only negative was British Airways – the food was the worst I have ever had travelling!

Hi Michele, in response to your letter of 30 August, we had an amazing safari. It exceeded our expectations. Among many wonderful sites we saw a cheetah catch a gazelle and bring it to her two cubs. Also a lioness brought down a wildebeest, which then escaped [see photos].

Dear Michele, I am emailing to let you know that we have had a wonderful holiday. Thank you for putting together an itinerary that provided us with the contrasts that we were looking for and also for ‘reading’ our tastes so well. We have had some great experiences and when we reached Sossusviei Desert Lodge I thought that I had died and gone to heaven. I cannot imagine that it could be bettered. Its location is picture perfect and I think it got our vote for the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Our second favourite place was Camp Kalahari. You rather ‘down sold’ this, and when one of my friends told me that she was going for a second time to Jack’s Camp I felt a little envious (although having looked at the prices for Jack’s Camp I can see that it would have added considerably to the cost). However in the event the experience here was really memorable and we could not see how it could have been improved upon. We were very glad that we decided to do the Grey Matters excursion, we never thought that we would get so close to an elephant and learn so much about them. We weren’t as enthused by Stanley’s lodge as the other accommodation. However staying at Stanley or the sister camp is the only way of doing Grey Matters and we would not have wanted to have missed that. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and we enjoyed the connecting flights by light aircraft, the flights to and from Sossusviei stand out in particular. So thank you again for providing us with a spectacular holiday.

We had a very enjoyable holiday and would like to think that we will be going back to Africa sometime in the future! Kaingo Camp was an excellent choice – very helpful and friendly. We were impressed by the reception we had a Tafika Camp after our experience on the Chikoko Trails. The new taxes were not in force but no one was really sure what was going on. You were right to say there might be some confusion!

Good morning Michele, I am now back after a great time. Your organisation worked perfectly with no complications except on the return leg I had 4 hours to kill in N. The camp was fine. Emma was great and really looked after me. My driver David was superb writing things down when I did not understand. We saw lions every day plus cheetah and I saw a river crossing (after about 6 hrs sitting). It really is amazing. Thanks for your help making my trip so easy.

Hi Michele, Just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for my fabulous safari experience last week. I saw everything except a rhino – even the leopard that they hadn’t seen for 3 months. Very lucky and amazing. The camp was just the right choice for me. I loved the way that Emma runs it, and that all the staff are Masai. I think you know the guide that I had, David, who was just fantastic. Anyway, thanks again for such efficient and easy organization of my holiday.

Hi Michele, wedding day was fantastic thank you, leopard up a tree in the morning then two more in the afternoon!!!! Oh and yes we got married too! Seriously it was great, thanks for the work in the background which really made the trip special right from the start. Thank you for the card which we were given on the day…much appreciated. The Palacino upgraded us (thanks to you no doubt) to the biggest hotel room/suite we’ve ever seen………Darren and Emma at Kicheche were outstanding as you’d expect, and the camp were brilliant……….they couldn’t believe how “low maintenance” we were but did a superb job and went to great lengths to ensure everything was very special indeed. They picked a great location under a lone tree on a huge plain that was full of wildebeest…………Darren took loads of pics and Emma did a wonderful job on the video, Patrick and the rest of the troops were brilliant……..it could not have been better. For us it was just perfect, low key, bit of fun, very very personal and really memorable. Rwanda was very good indeed too…………..Primate Safaris did a good job and we were lucky with the sightings (Sibyinyo and Kwitando groups were most obliging!!!). H was dead chuffed that all the paperwork in Rwanda was headed up Mr and Mrs! Nice touch well done!!!!

Hi Mary. The Kenya trip was so amazing! We had such a wonderful time and want to go back again next year! I love Lewa, the people are wonderful, Emma, Will and the staff are lovely people. They organised a surprise dinner for Andy’s 40th on our last night. I would like to thank you for your help to put together a wonderful trip for us. We really had a wonderful time. I will contact you again when we plan our next trip!

Dear Rob, I apologize for the delay in sending this to you. First, I want to thank you for your suggestions about our safari. The whole trip was clearly beyond my expectations. I have already recommended you to several friends and I will continue to do so. I particularly am grateful that you suggested that we hire private guides for Ngorongoro Crater and for Olakira. We did 12 hour game drives in Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro and all 3 days in Olakira. This was fabulous and wouldn’t have been possible without the private guides. Pietro at Kwihala was also fabulous. I probably wouldn’t have picked Ruaha based on the description and it was the high point of the trip. There were a few glitches which I think you would like to know about. Please keep in mind that we had a wonderful time; I’m passing along the criticism because you did such a good job on the recommendations that I want you to know the minor points that didn’t work out……Thanks again for all the time you put into getting everything to be perfect. You accomplished miracles for us. It really was beyond my expectations from the moment we flew into Lake Manyara until we arrived back in Dar es Salaam.
