Hi Michele, we had a wonderful time in Botswana; it was an exciting adventure for sure. Rather than just animal sightings (and there were tons) we were fortunate enough to be able to observe animals in their daily routine. Footsteps was my personal favourite camp – just 7 of them doing everything and making it all look so effortless and enjoyable. The walks were the best and just getting to camp from the airstrip was a real adventure. Loved it! Paddy particularly liked Selinda Explorers – especially the décor. Absolutely wonderful. It’s amazing how many experiences can be packed into less than two weeks – it’ll take many more than that to process it all. A lovely trip so thanks once again for your hard work to make it so for us.

Hi Rob, thank you so much for organising a fabulous holiday for us. We loved every minute of it and it far exceeded all our expectations (which were already high!). There were so many highlights and we are currently ploughing through and editing approximately 3,000 photos so are reliving all the memories. The Victoria Falls were magnificent, in full spate and Ilala Lodge was lovely. We loved the Chobe river, and the birdlife was superb. We saw about 60 elephants drinking at Elephant Bay which was memorable. The 3 safari camps were awesome. In every case the standard of accommodation was amazing, the food delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Our favourite camp was Shinde – the atmosphere and friendliness almost moved us to tears. At each camp we saw lots and a great variety of animals and birds. A highlight was a pride of nine lions at Selinda which, after an abortive warthog hunt, decided to flop down in the shade of our vehicle. They were so close I could have reached out and touched them. You have now thoroughly converted us to safaris and we have Namibia on the high wishlist.

Hi Michele, this is now the fourth time we have come to you with an outline of what we wanted to do. This time a focus on the Okavango Delta with a fully water based camp, a game based camp, a camp with mixed activities and a walking based camp. As previously, the itinerary you put together fully met the brief and we had a great holiday with experiences to remember. Many thanks once again for all the time and effort you put into this.

Rob, happy to report we are safely returned from a great trip. Many thanks for organising this safari at such short notice. It all worked excellently: the charter flight down to the Lower Zambezi linked up effortlessly with our international flight; we were in Chiawa in time for an evening drive. Chiawa was outstanding, amongst the best (if not the best) lodge we have stayed in. Old Mondoro was as we remembered it from eighteen months ago; quiet and rustic and very close to nature but with all the creature comforts. At both camps the game viewing exceeded expectation; four excellent leopard sightings at Chiawa and about six more at Mondoro, enough lions at both lodges and wild dog at Chiawa. Yes, the game viewing was more challenging at this time of year but it was great to see the bush so beautiful and green, a completely different perspective to normal. We both thoroughly enjoyed this trip and are already plotting our return to Zambia.

Dear Rob, it was a terrific experience and Tanda Tula was absolutely spot on for what we were looking for – extremely comfortable, very well run and with excellent food, delightful staff, a great atmosphere and very good guides, who were particularly sensitive to the welfare of the animals. Thank you so much for the recommendation. We saw the big 5 and plenty more. At Le Paradis, the modernised rooms are very comfortable and the hotel continues to offer great facilities. We had a really memorable holiday and we are very grateful to you for your great help in putting it together for us.
