Dear Michele, A very big THANK YOU for the amazing holiday in Kenya and Zanzibar. After receiving information from two other organisations, I was not happy and my instinct told me to look further afield and this was a decision that I shall be thankful for. You knew exactly what we were looking for and even with the short notice you came up with a perfect itinerary and provided every detail necessary. Your advice about tipping, clothing, luggage etc., was followed and paid dividends. I do not know how you managed it, but the amount of time at each Kicheche Camp and at Ras Nungwi and Stonetown was perfect. Not too little and not too much. What I was dreading the most was meetings and transfers as I have had bad experiences. There was no need for concern as everything went off without a hitch and we had the most wonderful people meet us and make sure we were taken care of. I think our biggest hassle was filling out Immigration cards on the aircraft. If you especially arranged for us to see every wildlife imagineable – then thank you. I don’t think we missed anything. My only (half-hearted) complaint was that the food and drinks was so superb I put on weight. Thank you Michele and everyone at Safari Consultants, We shall be back.

Dear Mary, How sad we are to be back but we cope by living on our memories of yet another wonderful holiday. Asha Cottage and the beach were without doubt a little bit of paradise. As you promised we were looked after as treasured guests and virtually family members. It truly is a wonderful place for those who just want to relax in peacde and quiet. As far as how you can improve your service – that is impossible! Everything works like clockwork exactly as you set out in our itinerary and everyone who looks after us is both efficient and friendly. We just can’t find anything to complain about. Thank you so much for everything and all the care you take and for keeping your finger constantly on the pulse. We hope to see you again before too long.

Dear Michele, thank you! We had the most fantastic time and really appreciate your wonderful help and organisation. Everything went according to your careful plans and exceeded our expectations. Your management of our expectations was perfect and everything lived up to them. Kicheche Bush camp was simply perfect for us – you really understood me well. The service was exceptional, very relaxed, but nothing too much trouble. Darren & Emma at Kicheche were excellent. I can also say they were fantastic with Oscar. I don’t know how many of Oscar’s photos and videos Darren sat through, but it was a lot! 🙂 I was glad I had waited until Oscar was 10 for this trip. Any younger & he would have found it hard going, but he loved it. As expected, the animals sightings were great. Charles, our guide, never tired of our questions and was never short of an answer. So all in all, a brilliant holiday. Thank you for all your work organising it for us. The speed with which you replied to emails, your reassurances, your ability to listen and understand what I was looking for were excellent. My expectations were high and I was not disappointed. If any of my friends are ever thinking of going on safari, I won’t recommend they use Safari Consultants – I will insist!

Hi Rob, today is our first day back to work and reality after our wonderful honeymoon. We had the best time of our lives and absolutely loved every second of it. We kept thinking it couldn’t get better and it did. All of the accommodations were superb and it was a great variety of venues. We were so enamored with our room at the Mosselberg! The safari was by far our favorite aspect of the trip. We are so glad we went with Savanna. Everyone was so knowledgeable and warm and the accommodations were spectacular. Spending 4 nights was perfect too, it left us wanting more, but it was enough time to see so many great things and get to know so many wonderful people. Thanks so much for all of your help and putting together such a memorable honeymoon. We will be sure to recommend others to you. Thanks again for making our honeymoon so very special.

We sought advice from a number of tour operators but when we met Jane she really understood the kind of honeymoon experience we were looking for and used her own experience and expertise to help shape the perfect agenda for us. We were provided with detailed information before the trip and Jane was happy to speak with us at any time (day or night) to answer our questions. Being an adventurous couple we decided to pack our honeymoon full of various experiences and I can honestly say that Jane ensured we were made to feel special at every location, we had a really magical and unforgettable experience. She treated us like friends rather than like clients and when we come to do our next safari there’s no doubt that we’ll go back to Jane to help us put together another amazing trip.

Dear Rob, thank you for your ‘Welcome Home’ letter. I must say, I was not glad to be home. I didn’t want to leave when we moved on to Zanzibar from Ruaha, and I didn’t want to leave Zanzibar, when it was time to go home! It was a wonderful holiday and all arrangements were fantastic. Selous and Ruaha were different and I enjoyed them both. However, Ruaha was the highspot. In 2001, when Elaine and I went to Botswana we met a couple of guys who had been in Ruaha and they recommended it so highly, I determined to go one day. It took ten years, but was worth the wait. The landscape is varied and is incredibly beautiful. There is masses of game and not many people. I absolutely loved it. Thanks to you and your team for organising everything so well and ensuring that all travel arrangements worked perfectly.

Thanks for getting in touch Mary. We had a magical time, particularly at the Kicheche Camp which everyone loved. It was a great choice. Probably should have spent more time there on reflection and less at the beach, but don’t worry, the Baraza Resort was terrific as well. The only (minor) downside was all the travelling, particularly on the way back but we knew that was going to happen and it’s one of those things. Thank you very much for all your efforts in organising it, and being so calm when we had to switch it all around. Top job!
