Hello, Rob. We had another hugely enjoyable holiday with just the right sequence of camps..Old Mondoro was the cherry on the cake, a wonderful finale. The accommodation in all four lodges was aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable; the staff were welcoming and the guides excellent. Food everywhere was ample and tasty/delicious. All our ornithological needs were more than catered for by our exceptional guide at Kaingo, Andrew, (probably the best we’ve ever had). We loved Old Mondoro and would return every year if we could. We had a very good guide, Wallace, who really knew his birds and we had some excellent game drives and boat trips with him. All the staff were extremely pleasant and obliging. We had elephants in the camp now and then and breakfast on our last morning was interrupted by a quick dash in a vehicle to view three lions passing through.

Dear Rob – We want to say thank you so much for all you did to make our trip such a success! Each time I share and reflect on our many adventures, I appreciate more and more the many amazing people, animals, landscapes, skies and African wonders we encountered. Thank you again, and if our travel adventures lead us to spend more time in Africa, you and your company will be the first to know!

Hi Rob. We had an absolutely amazing time. “This is the best yet!” was spoken every day, right up to departure. I think I can speak for everyone in saying this was the best trip of our lifetimes. We are so grateful for the care you put into setting up this trip – it was beyond fabulous!!

Hi Rob, we had a fantastic trip. Livingstone has been spruced up slightly since our last visit. The Falls were magnificent, best we have ever seen them. I would recommend this time of year to anyone who wants to see the falls. Islands of Siankaba was the best we’ve ever seen the place. The food was fantastic, the staff are all great, I can’t say enough about how pleasant, friendly and obliging all of the staff were. Kwando Lagoon – WOW – was as good as most of the camps I have been to in Botswana. The tented thatched rooms were enormous, the biggest rooms of any lodge I have ever stayed in. We all had a great time on each part of our trip, I was so glad to visit Africa again, Cara got so much out of the trip and best of all wants to go back!

Hi Rob, All flights, transfers, pick-ups etc. went very smoothly, the organisation from start to finish was spot on. For the three “safari novices” among us, the start at Chobe was ideal. The sheer numbers of species and individual numbers we had seen by the end of the first (half) day left us spellbound. Disho, our guide there, was excellent; energetic, articulate, amusing and with a very sharp eye, picking out a treed leopard from about 400 yards away. The boat trip was very good, a completely different taste of the place, again with impressive numbers of hippos, crocs, elephants and birds. “Footsteps”….What a difference! All of the staff were good, and Paul, the guide is a natural entertainer and showman so was an excellent front man at mealtimes and round the campfire. His guiding was also excellent, the walks taking us to some superb places and wonderful views of the wildlife. Selinda Explorers was the jewel. The degree of comfort, luxury and high standard of food, catering and camp staff was as good as we could have desired. The crowning glory of the place, though, was Kane (pronounced Karney) who, as a genuine bushman displayed an amazing depth of knowledge. It was a privilege to be in his company for our time there, he quickly assessed our degree of interest and talked about his personal history and life, stories of his people and, of course a constant supply of information about the wildlife, plants, animals and birds. The walks with him were wonderful. Little Vumbura was superbly run and the standard of everything there is exemplary. It was fascinating to see such a contrasting waterworld area as well as the usual varied animal sightings. Many thanks indeed for your organisation and planning, I don’t think we could have had a better introduction to a safari holiday; the difficulty would be in matching it!

Hi Bill, we had an amazing time seeing all the big five as well as a cheetah kill. We even saw some unusual and somewhat timid animals as well, very exciting stuff. Sonja and Andy are lovely people, we were made to feel welcome in both camps. Well worth the money! Africa is in our heart, we plan to go again real soon. Thank you too for arranging this trip for us and your team, we will never forget it.

Dear Michele, everything went extremely well. The Masai guides at the Offbeat Camp were outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. They even found us a leopard which had been treed by a group of baboons. I have never been able to get photographs as good as those I took of the leopard. Diani Beach was also a great way to unwind after the safari. Asha Cottage was very comfortable and produced superb food. You chose well for us and the arrangements all worked well. So thank you so much for orchestrating it all for us.

Dear Rob, we have to comment on what a wonderful trip to Botswana you put together for us and we would like to make a special thank you and mention the wonderful attention Selinda gave us on the occasion of our ruby wedding anniversary. The private dinner was wonderful and we will always remember it. It was great to see another side of Africa which we thought was magical! Thanks again.
