Hi Frances, I had a truly fantastic trip and have been very impressed with everything from first contact with you right through to the courtesy of asking for feedback now. Both camps were excellent as were all of the staff. A special mention to the guides William and Gladys who were superb, knowledgeable and tireless in their efforts to show me everything they could. Camps were clean, professionally ran and managed with excellent service and good company. I was very lucky with the river crossings, seeing several on the Sand river and the Mara. I managed to see all of the big five. Overall the trip more than lived up to my expectations. Kenya is clearly a very special place and I will no doubt be back there again. Hi Rob, I had a really lovely time in Tanzania. I loved Fundu Lagoon and all the camps in the Serengeti though Olakira and Nimiri Plains are perhaps my favourite. It was nice to see all the different typographies which offer different experiences and the game viewing was very good. I saw a leopard practically every day including one stalking and killing a black faced vervet monkey right in front of me, lots of lions mating and a couple of crossings which was awesome. I rather liked the diving in Fundu Lagoon. Visibility was very good and the coral garden was pristine. I even saw a few big fish (crocodile fish and humphead parrotfish). I also think taking you to a deserted island for snorkeling and diving is a nice touch. I would not mind going back there! The service at the camps was also really good and I was well fed. Thanks for organizing such a wonderful trip Rob. Much appreciated! I will definitely contact you again for my next trip to Africa and I will be recommending you once again to my friends.

Hello Mary, the trip was just utterly incredible. The combination of Sosian, Serengeti and Zanzibar was perfect and the order just right. Really we couldn’t have wished for more. The Serengeti time was so special – lack of WIFI with teenage kids is such a bonus. We managed to keep it from them in Sosian too until they overheard someone mention you could get it at the entrance! All your organisation and flights etc. worked a treat and having been worried about the flying element, it became a highlight. When I think of the millions people spend going to spas and retreats etc. – all you need is a weekend of safari to feel like a completely renewed human being! Thank you so much and we will be planning our next one now!

Hi Rob, Unfortunately we had to come home at the end of our Namibia trip – which was the only disappointing aspect of the arrangements! Although by now we are used to it, it is very much appreciated that everything you arranged went perfectly smoothly. We had a great time and saw some amazing scenery, lots of wildlife, stayed at some lovely places and met many really nice people – yep a great time!

Hi Michele, we both wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into making our honeymoon so special with the itinerary that you put together. We had an amazing experience in Kenya. Ol Seki had an amazing setting on the side of the hill and it was unbelievable and very strange sitting there with all the wildlife around. We also had champagne in the tent for the honeymoon which was nice. Onto Mauritius and The Maritim was a lovely hotel overlooking the beach and a small bay. Again honeymoon specials were in the room which was nice. The food on the whole was pretty good and staff helpful. We did two trips – one visiting a tea plantation, grand bassin and the waterfalls in the national park. The second was in a catamaran in the lagoon on the east of the island, seeing waterfalls, snorkelling in the beautiful clear water with plenty of rum punch and beer which was nice. The hotel and the island were very nice with plenty to do but having such wonderful time at Ol Seki it had a huge amount to live up to but still very enjoyable. So as you have probably guessed we had a fantastic trip that we shall remember for a very long time. We are both very grateful to you for all your advice and work and are really pleased you advised us to go to Kenya, a fascinating country and it felt like everyone we came across couldn’t do enough to help you. Once again thank you for your efforts in putting this together and putting up with my silly questions.

Hi Rob, just want to say thank you for helping to organise Alisha and my trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe. I must say I was a little hesitant that the trip may not live up to the memories of our Kenyan trip in 2013. Well I am happy to say that whilst this trip was different (which is what you want) it was every bit as wonderful. Umkumbe – our guide, Mauritz, was excellent and whilst animal sightings were hard to find he put in an almighty effort. Accommodation and food were great. At Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls the elephant back safari was brilliant and helicopter flight over the falls – spectacular. Finished the day with a relaxing sunset river cruise and some good animal sightings along the shore. The lodge and staff were terrific. Camp Hwange – from the minute we were picked up at the gate we knew this was going to be a great few days. Our guide Quinn was brilliant, the other staff at camp were lovely too. The food and accommodation fantastic. Really enjoyed the walking – walking up to the bull elephant was a little scary but thrilling at the same time. The birds were amazing especially the martial eagle with its genet kill. Our final morning was particularly memorable as we were woken by the male lions roaring quite close to camp and were able to catch up with them and the lionesses and cubs. Then on our drive back to the gate we came across a large pride of lionesses and their cubs (12 or more). Thanks again for all your help and advice. This trip has once again left us wanting more and I hope to be organising another adventure in the not too distant future. Botswana here we come!
