Hello Rob, wanted to thank you for setting up a great trip to Tanzania. We enjoyed it immensely and will have a lot of wonderful memories. Some of the highlights included – on the last day getting to see the elusive leopard in the morning capped off with seeing a mother cheetah and her 3 cubs; the luxury tent at Oliver’s with all the sounds at night including the infamous honey badger and the morning wake up with various birds that bring whole area to life. Thanks again and we’ll be happy to provide any other feedback that you would like. We will be recommending Safari Consultants to our friends and family.

A fabulous trip with amazing and fond memories forever. Felt you were amongst the animals. Other guests were great to mix with as they were of the same mind set and we had great stories of each other’s experiences. The managers whether on safari or resort were organised, professional and friendly. Respect to the environment, animals and people displayed at all times, obvious this practise was routine. Took 2000 photos and will find it difficult to trim down! The meals in the bush were very special; including toilet breaks!! Food Everywhere! Who knows how they did it in such remote areas. Thank you for organising an amazing holiday, just writing this makes me feel quite emotional about the whole experience. Special thanks to Michele.

I would like to say a huge thanks to Michele for being not only an excellent travel agent, an excellent Wedding Planner too! The whole trip was fantastic, exactly what we were hoping for. Michele’s hard work made everything go like clockwork. Also a huge thanks to all at Kicheche, but an extra special thank you to Cat, she was amazing. All the team at Kicheche pulled out all the stops for us and made us feel really special. Would I recommend a wedding at Kicheche? Absolutely!!

The highlight of the trip was Old Mondoro which was absolute paradise – Beautiful place, incredible setting and amazing wildlife – we saw more leopard than I would have believed possible – and really excellent sightings!

We had a great time and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful holiday. The whole trip was awesome and exceeded all expectations. It goes down as one of our best trips yet! I was very impressed with the efficiency in Africa which I was not totally expecting!

Regarding Safari Consultants, such good information on everything from clothing, photography, culture etc..!! we had nerves about transfers and flights – the green prompt cards in our ticket waller – fantastic – who could get lost or miss a connection with such attention to detail?

Game viewing was excellent at both lodges – the river site made Selous special. You told me when we spoke that Baraza was 5 star but Africa 5 star. We therefore set our expectations a bit on the low side. It was in fact first class by any standard.

Hi Mary – just to let you know we arrived safely from our fabulous holiday. We had a wonderful time and saw some amazing animals. Thank you so much for all your hard work in arranging everything for us and for re-arranging our return flights so we could go to the elephant sanctuary on the last day. A perfect ending to our perfect holiday. Both camps had brilliant hosts and I really got on well with Sonia who has the same interests as me, we are exchanging cooking recipes and crafty ideas!

Hi Michele, finally back after a wonderful honeymoon. I just wanted to thank you for all your help. The whole trip was just wonderful and it felt like we were away for a long time, much longer than the actual time which is always good. Selous is just an incredible place and the service and friendliness of the camp is amazing. Then Kwihala is a lovely change, much more down to earth and in the middle of nowhere, yet still incredible food and service. The game viewing and guiding there was also we thought a notch up on the Selous. Ras Kutani was the perfect end and is a very special place and again the staff there were so friendly and helpful and the food and general feeling of the place is also amazing. The whole trip was amazing and once we go through the 3000 odd photos we will have some incredible shots to remember it by but also the memories that will last a lifetime. My wife was blown away by Africa and for me it was nice to go back to familiar sounds and smells. Thanks again for organising it all and all your help along the way.

Hi Rob, We had a great time in Botswana. Savuti was an excellent recommendation. The location by the river is lovely and the camp certainly seemed well managed. We had a good guide and notably saw leopards (2), lions (5 – youngsters), dogs (twice), and honey badgers. We also liked Little Vumbura. We had an excellent guide who was the best on birds we have ever had. We saw one lion (twice), 3 leopards (2 very shy but one very good) and we had a great dog viewing experience when they were not just lying there half-asleep but were running about with some pups. We also saw the sable (the herd is being steadily reduced by the lions) and some very enjoyable elephant viewings.

David and Pamela have travelled to Botswana several times
